Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop at Disneyland Paris

When Walt Disney planned Disneyland in California, he wanted it to be a place where families could go to forget the real world for a little while. He obviously knew that there was room for Theme Park expansion, since the plans for The Florida Project were already underway when he died.

We have to wonder, though, if he ever dreamed that there would someday be Disney Theme Parks and Resorts across the planet. These complexes all have the heart of the original Disneyland, while adding touches for the local culture.

Disneyland Paris is a great example. It features the best of Disney, but also has a French feel. There are two Theme Parks at Disneyland Paris: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.

Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop is a ride that is located in the Worlds of Pixar land at Walt Disney Studios Park. Here’s the description from the Disneyland Paris website:

Paula K

I grew up in Western Massachusetts. When I was nine my family went to Disneyland and I was hooked. I grew up, attended New England College in Henniker, NH, and eventually moved to Virginia. I worked as a disc jockey, married, and became a full time mom when our daughter was born. Fast forward several years. In 2010, we moved to Central Florida and my Disney obsession grew. I now work as a freelance writer and spend my spare time in the Parks. Under the name Paula Brown, I penned the novels 'Dream Wanderers' and 'The Coffee Cruiser'. I also am a co-author of 'Dining at Walt Disney World: The Definitive Guide'. I'm obsessed with Star Wars, so this is a good time to live in Central Florida.
