Fan Unearths the Strangest Disney Commercial We’ve Ever Seen, Featuring Frozen Walt and CEO Bob Iger

The entirety of the Walt Disney Company’s entertainment domain is…extensive to say the least.

There’s classic Walt Disney Studios entertainment, there’s Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios, and more. As recently as ten years ago, Disney entertainment looked incredibly different.

With so many different intellectual properties, it can be kind of tricky to remember which movies fall under the Walt Disney Company’s ownership and which ones don’t. It doesn’t help that Disney Plus (stylistically Disney+) now hosts movies that weren’t originally released by Walt Disney Studios, such as Anastasia (1997) and the Ice Age series.

That being said, Disney movies, TV shows, and even commercials have a very specific look and feel, making it a little easier to determine whether something was originally made by Disney entertainment or simply acquired.

But one fan was recently subjected to a strange commercial, and they found themselves wondering who exactly it belonged to, as it used Disney imagery in one of the weirdest ways we’ve ever seen before:

Please watch this so I’m not going crazy alone. Is this an AI generated commercial? Who thought it was a good idea to make a commercial about Walt Disney defrosting?!#disney #waltdisney #ai #artificialintelligence #cryogenicallyfrozen #conspiracy

In this video, the fan explains how she stumbled across this super uncanny commercial before playing it for the audience.

The commercial begins playing at 1:31, and it’s worth noting that we desperately tried to find another video of this eerie commercial to give readers a better, clearer view, but to avail. Maybe the Walt Disney Company has already gotten to work getting this video taken down? We don’t know.

But we do know that we’ve never seen anything like this before.

Disney Fans Are No Strangers to Navigating Knock-Offs, But This Is a Different Story…

Of course, Disney fans are no strangers to knock-offs of Disney entertainment, but this is something else entirely. Portraying a cryogenically frozen Walt Disney being thawed out, Disney CEO Bob Iger, and making references to some of Disney’s most beloved movies makes for a confusing viewing experience.

It’s also worth noting that once the commercial is over, we have no clue who made this, or why! Who was the target demographic? What is being advertised by this? We, like many of the Disney fans in the TikTok’s comments, can’t even begin to find the answers.

That being said, we’re sure that the Walt Disney Company and CEO Bob Iger would be displeased by this strange video, even if it paints Disney in an incredibly positive light.

The use of so much Disney imagery without permission in such an incomprehensible video is undoubtedly a big no-no, and we wouldn’t be surprised to find out that this commercial was pulled from circulation due to Disney interference.

What do you think of this interesting commercial?
