Celebrate Mickey Mouse’s Birthday!

This year is Mickey and Minnie Mouse’s 95th birthday! Walt Disney’s quote “It all started with a mouse” is especially true as they helped start the Disney company. To celebrate, here are some Mickey and Minnie themed items on shopDisney.

History of Mickey and Minnie

Mickey and Minnie Mouse made their first appearance in Steamboat Willie on November 18th, 1928. At first, Mickey was voiced by the one and only Walt Disney! Minnie was voiced by Russi Taylor. Both of these people helped create the foundation for these amazing characters.

Throughout the years, Minnie and Mickey have been the face of the Walt Disney Company. When someone thinks of Disney characters, they are one of the first to come to mind. Their birthday marks the start of Disney as we know it!
