Minkey Mouse from Disney: Fans Find Trans Minnie and Mickey

Fans were recently tickled and amused by a piece of official Disney100 merchandise that clearly had a “weird defect.”

Two of the most beloved characters in the world of Disney are Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse. These two beloved characters have formed the foundation of the incredible love so many fans from all over the world have for the Walt Disney Company.

Mickey Mouse, especially, is truly iconic, considering the character is the mascot for Disney and is the Mouse that started it all with Steamboat Willie. However, recently, fans discovered a strange Mickey/Minnie Mouse that was reportedly “official” Disney100 merchandise.

Disney fan u/thatguywhohaspsvr took to Reddit to share a photo of official Disney100 merchandise he found that had a “weird defect.” As you can see, the Mouse in the photo has the head of Minnie Mouse and the bottom of Mickey Mouse and is a combined version of the two iconic mice.

The user joked around, adding that “I call it ‘minkey.'”

Fans were incredibly amused and, in the comments, took the opportunity to respond humorously to what they saw of the Mouse. One shared, “‘we’re all out of bows’ ‘Uh, just throw some shorts on her. Nobody will notice.'”

Another advised the OP to buy the merchandise as it was rare and therefore would likely be worth extra, “That’s worth extra! Buy it! 😂.”

Some other fans highlighted how this particular merchandise was reminiscent of the queer and LGBTQ community sharing, “Cannot believe Minnie transitioned. Good for him I hope he’s feeling happier now! 😄”

Of course, it’s important to note that, in all likelihood, this was just an accident on the part of Disney as it’s incredibly unlikely they would release official Disney100 merchandise that doesn’t resemble a traditional Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse.

This said, it’s certainly a surprising find and one that, as fans pointed out, could be worth a lot one day if the OP did decide to hold on to it for the sake of forming a unique collection.

One fan also took the time to recall a recent “scandal” that had overtaken Minnie and Mickey: “Do t you know? That’s why Disney broke Mickey and Minnie up.”

The fan is referencing the rumor going around recently that explained Disney would be breaking Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse up. However, it should go without saying that for now Minnie and Mickey are still going steady—so much so, in fact, that they’re practically one Mouse!
