3. Ride Along Rivers of America
The Rivers of America attraction has been a breathtaking marvel since first opening back in 1955. And after a temporary closure operations are back and better than ever with loads of refurbishments to boast, including a new Columbia Gorge section with raging waterfalls. As previously mentioned, you will see views from aboard the train route, but there are other experiences to take in that even entail riding along the waters directly. Guests can enjoy many adventures, like delightful peaceful sails aboard the Mark Twain Riverboat or the Sailing Ship Columbia. There are also the free-floating Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes, which seat up to 20 passengers and are completely manned via paddle. Rivers of America is site to many unique attractions, including Tom Sawyer’s Island (and the Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer’s Island) and even the nighttime spectacular Fantasmic!
