4. Catch a new train of thought
Because Walt Disney had such a genuine love and interest in trains, no park visit would be complete without a ride along with rails of the Disneyland Railroad. And after some recent renovations the experience is better than ever. Hop on board for an 18-minute journey laden with breathtaking views of newly restored landscapes and scenery. Stare in awe at rock formations, natural forestry, wildlife depictions and four rivers inspired by the Mississippi, Missouri, Columbia, and Rio Grande. And for the ultimate experience you may want to consider the Grand Circle Tour. Spanning a two-hour duration, this experience includes a sweet start with a delicious snack, then a guided walking tour through the park before boarding the one and only original Lilly Belle—Mrs. Disney’s private parlor car—for a train ride like no other. Please note that while guests may ride the rails throughout the day, the Grand Tour is a private reserved event that takes place at select times at the cost of $85 a person. The Lilly Belle operates exclusively for this engagement and is not available for regular train rides.
