Time to dine at one of Magic Kingdom Park’s most delicious table-service restaurants… The Plaza! Before we you make your Disney dining reservations, here’s what to know about this Magic Kingdom restaurant.
The Plaza Restaurant
The Plaza Restaurant is a table-service restaurant located on Main Street, U.S.A., in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida. It is known for its classic American cuisine and old-fashioned soda fountain atmosphere.
The restaurant is small and intimate, with seating for approximately 70 Guests inside and additional seating outside on a charming patio with views of Cinderella Castle. The decor is reminiscent of a turn-of-the-century ice cream parlor, with a white and pastel color scheme and striped awnings.
Guests dining at Plaza right off Main Street, U.S.A., can spot the iconic Cinderella Castle in the distance. Keep in mind clear views of the Castle are obstructed by several outdoor umbrellas across from the restaurant. The Plaza Restaurant is not a location you’ll want to expect to see Magic Kingdom fireworks while dining.
The Plaza Menu
The menu at The Plaza Restaurant features classic American dishes, such as sandwiches, salads, burgers, and milkshakes. Highlights include the Plaza Club sandwich, grilled Reuben sandwich, and Plaza meatloaf, as well as vegetarian options like the vegetarian burger and roasted vegetable sandwich. For dessert, Guests can indulge in a variety of ice cream treats, including classic sundaes and floats.
The Plaza Drinks
The Plaza Restaurant offers a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including soda, milkshakes, and specialty beverages like the All-American Sundae Shake and the Chocolate Brownie Milkshake.
Additionally, The Plaza Restaurant serves alcohol, even though Magic Kingdom was a once dry Park. Alcoholic beverage options include wine, beer, mimosas, sangrias, and specialty cocktails such as the Jack Rose (brandy) and Last Word (gin).
