11. Disney Animation Building
While out and about in Hollywood Land in Disney California Adventure a stop in at the Disney Animation Building is definitely worth it. Here you get to experience a host of unique opportunities, from taking a closer look at the animation process to Turtle Talk with Crush. For starters there’s Animation Academy, an experience for all ages in which you get a hands-on presentation by an actual artist on how to draw Disney characters. You yourself will even be given the opportunity to create your very own Disney character sketch. Then there’s the Sorcerer’s Workshop, which offers two hands-on interactive experiences—the Magic Mirror Realm and Beast’s Library. There’s also the Animation Courtyard to check out with still images, video clips, and more magic making medium to take in.
