On October 24, Disney announced the first-of-its-kind Haunted Mansion Parlor. According to Disney, the Haunted Mansion Parlor will have a unique and special story. Guests will dine with a “jovial captain who entered the ghostly realm after a disastrous dinner with his beloved fiancé.” It will be a swinging wake unlike anything else Disney guests have experienced.
Disney Parks Blog shared more information about the stunning new space.
The design of the Haunted Mansion Parlor will resemble a first-class drawing room of a classic cruise liner from the golden age, invoking inspiration from the original Haunted Mansion with a nautical twist. Complete with nostalgic tributes to Haunted Mansion attractions around the world, fans will recognize the iconic wallpaper and the distinctive purple armchair tucked in the corner.
You will also encounter a few legendary characters from the original Disney Parks attraction, as well as some new seafaring arrivals, in a portrait gallery depicting the Disney Treasure’s own ghostly residents.
Disney also shared a video of the parlor and what guests will encounter when they enter the delightfully unlivable space.

Frightfully Delicious Cocktails and Merchandise
The Haunted Mansion Parlor will have a menu full of incredible and unique cocktails that guests are sure to love. There will be a number of cocktails, as well as mocktails for those who do not wish to have alcohol. And the names will match the spooky sips, including Sympathetic Libations and Ghoulish Delight.
There will also be a Signature Cocktail, that will be a spin on a classic margarita. It will even be topped with foam and a special message that can only be seen under a black light.
Since the Haunted Mansion Parlor will be something you can only experience on the Disney Treasure, there will also be exclusive merchandise that you can only purchase during your voyage.
First up, guests can purchase the Haunted Mansion Parlor Music Box. According to the legends, the mystical music box was supposed to be a gift from the captain to his bride, but she never got it. The stories say that it only opens when evil spirits are present.

Guests will also be able to buy the Haunted Mansion Parlor clock, which is designed to look like the grandfather clock that guests see each time they ride the Haunted Mansion in both Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
Finally, make sure you snag a Haunted Mansion Parlor Mirror. But, beware, the Hitchhiking Ghosts can be seen in the lamp and may even follow you home!
The Haunted Mansion Parlor is not the only venue that will open on the Disney Treasure that will be inspired by Disney Parks. There will also be the Skipper Society — which is inspired by Walt Disney’s World-Famous Jungle Cruise — and the Periscope Pub, inspired by Disney’s “legacy” attraction, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
The Disney Treasure is scheduled to set sail in December 2024.
