1. The Grand Californian Hotel and Spa
The most expensive and closest Disneyland resort is also one of the best. The Grand Californian is designed as a luxury craftsman style lodge right next to Disney’s California Adventure Park. One perk to staying here is the special entrances to DCA and Downtown Disney. If you need a little relaxation from the crowds, book a spa treatment at the Mandara Spa. They specialize in massages and facials. You can also choose from several views from your resort room, including the pool area, Downtown Disney and the theme parks. You won’t go hungry with the choice of table service, quick service and lounges located at the Grand Californian, including the Napa Rose Lounge that serves some of the best California wines. Start your day with a fun and filling Chip n’ Dale Critter character breakfast or on the weekends, they serve brunch. Your young ones will enjoy a scavenger hunt throughout the resort and once it’s completed, they will receive a special treat.
All 3 of the Disneyland Resort hotels are worth a stay, at least once. With themed pools, places to dine and drink and plenty of downtime activities, you may need an extra vacation day just to enjoy the resort.
