1. THE FUTURE OF DISNEYLAND
Over the next few years, Disneyland expects to see even more expansion with more attractions and entertainment. There are plans in the works to make changes to Pixar Fest at Disney’s California Adventure to include a new fireworks spectacular, special characters and new entertainment. The “Paint the Night” parade will move to Disney’s California Adventure and will have a brand-new float.
A Star Wars-themed land is also in the works. “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” will include attractions in which Guests can pilot the Millennium Falcon or board a Star Destroyer. And there are also plans for Spider-Man and the Avengers to join the Guardians of the Galaxy at Disney’s California Adventure for a new superhero-themed universe at the park.
Though Disney himself did not live to see the unrivaled popularity of Disneyland, it is safe to say he would most likely have been pleased by not only the number of Guests who visit each year, but by how large the Disney empire has grown, all because of one man’s dream of a mouse named Mickey and a place of magic where families could make memories together.
