Walt Disney World is preparing for another busy holiday season, but guests hoping to attend one of Magic Kingdom’s most popular Christmas events are already running into a problem.
Tickets are disappearing.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party hasn’t even started its 2026 season, yet several nights have reached capacity.

The separately ticketed celebration remains a favorite among Disney World visitors, offering holiday entertainment, festive decorations, and special experiences that go beyond a regular day at Magic Kingdom.
However, guests planning to attend this year may have fewer options than they expected.
As of October 16, eight party nights have officially sold out, leaving 17 dates available throughout November and December.
For families still organizing their Christmas vacations, here’s a closer look at which nights remain open and what they can expect from the event.
Another Magic Kingdom Christmas Party Date Sells Out
The latest sellout involves November 13, adding another unavailable night to the 2026 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party calendar.
That brings the total number of sold-out celebrations to eight.
November has experienced the most sellouts so far, with five dates no longer available.
Those nights include November 9, 12, 13, 17, and 24.

December has three unavailable dates: December 1, 20, and 22.
Interestingly, the final two celebrations of the season have already reached capacity.
That means guests hoping to attend during the days immediately leading up to Christmas will need to consider another date.
While Disney still has tickets available for several other nights, the growing list of sellouts is worth watching.
Guests who have already finalized their travel plans may not have much flexibility if their preferred celebration becomes unavailable.
Which 2026 Christmas Party Dates Still Have Tickets?
Disney has scheduled Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on 25 select nights between November 8 and December 22.
With eight dates sold out, 17 remain available as of the latest update.
Here are the November dates with tickets remaining:
- Sunday, November 8
- Sunday, November 15
- Thursday, November 19
- Friday, November 20
- Wednesday, November 25
- Friday, November 27
- Sunday, November 29
Here are the remaining December dates:
- Thursday, December 3
- Friday, December 4
- Sunday, December 6
- Tuesday, December 8
- Thursday, December 10
- Friday, December 11
- Sunday, December 13
- Tuesday, December 15
- Thursday, December 17
- Friday, December 18
December currently offers more available nights than November, giving families several options during the final month of the year.
However, the latest available celebration is December 18.
Guests visiting after that date will not be able to purchase tickets for the December 20 or December 22 parties, since both have already sold out.
Those traveling around Thanksgiving still have November 25 and November 27 as potential options.
Of course, these dates could change as more tickets sell, so visitors should confirm availability before finalizing their plans.
Disney World Christmas Party Tickets Aren’t Cheap
One thing families should consider before purchasing tickets is the cost.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is not included with regular Magic Kingdom admission.
Instead, guests must purchase a separate event ticket.
For 2026, admission ranges from $189 to $229 for guests ages 10 and older, depending on the party date.
Children ages 3 through 9 receive a $10 discount.
Disney also offers discounts to eligible Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members on select nights.

Although those prices may seem steep, party guests receive access to Magic Kingdom before the official event begins.
Ticket holders can enter at 4 p.m., three hours before the party starts at 7 p.m.
That early entry window allows visitors to enjoy regular attractions, explore the park, and prepare for the evening’s entertainment.
The official party continues until midnight, giving guests five hours of dedicated holiday festivities.
Disney’s Christmas Entertainment Returns in 2026
For many families, the entertainment is the biggest reason to attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Disney is bringing back several familiar offerings this year.
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade returns with festive floats, Disney characters, and a special appearance by Santa Claus.
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show will also return, bringing holiday music and fireworks to the skies above Cinderella Castle.
Meanwhile, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration will offer another opportunity to see Disney characters participating in a festive stage performance.
The event also traditionally features holiday treats, character greetings, and seasonal experiences throughout Magic Kingdom.
Guests should review the official entertainment schedule closer to their visit to determine how they want to spend the evening.
Those who prefer a different holiday atmosphere can also explore Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
As of October 16, every scheduled Jollywood Nights date still has tickets available.
More Christmas Party Sellouts Could Be Coming
Although Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party still has 17 available dates, the remaining ticket inventory isn’t guaranteed to last.
With eight celebrations already sold out, families planning to attend should pay attention to the calendar.
Guests with flexible vacation schedules may have an easier time finding a suitable night, while those traveling for only a few days could face fewer options.

The first party takes place November 8, meaning the holiday celebration is now just weeks away.
For now, there are still opportunities to experience Magic Kingdom’s festive entertainment, Christmas parade, and fireworks.
But anyone hoping to attend a particular night may want to secure their tickets before another date joins the growing sold-out list.
