Disney Pulls ‘The Muppets’ Addition From Hollywood Studios With Immediate Effect
Disney has pulled a much-hyped Muppets addition from Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with cast members claiming that it is unclear when – or if – it will return.
Earlier this year, Disney debuted Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at the park. The reimagined attraction replaced Aerosmith with Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the Electric Mayhem, giving the high-speed indoor coaster a louder, stranger second act with distinct Muppet flair.
Alongside the new take on the attraction, guests can shop for merchandise at Rock Around the Shop, as well as enjoy Muppets-themed snacks – such as Wocka Wocking Nachos, Pink Le-moi-nade, and Pond Water Limeade – at FØØD by Swedish Chef.
Disney Makes Bizarre Adjustment to Muppet Offering
Yesterday, Disney added novelty, Muppet Labs-inspired cups as an optional upgrade for those purchasing Pink Le-moi-nade and Pond Water Limeade. But by 5.30 p.m. on August 1, it had pulled all cups from purchase, with cast members reporting that they may be gone for good.
When the flasks were available, one side featured the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets logo, while the other featured a banner with Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the ride’s band, The Electric Mayhem, in a limousine.

It’s unclear why Disney pulled the flasks from purchase so abruptly.
Disney initially noted that the flasks would only be available as long as supplies last. However, it appears it didn’t run out of stock, but that the flask was intentionally pulled from the park’s merchandise lineup.
For now, at least, Disney hasn’t released a recall notice for the flasks.
The good news is that there is plenty of other Muppet merchandise on offer at Rock Around the Shop, including Kermit and Miss Piggy NuiMOs (yes, they’re back), plush keychains, clothing, and even Muppets-inspired necklaces.
With fans still rooting for a full-season renewal of The Muppet Show after the success of its Disney+ special starring Sabrina Carpenter in February, there’s a chance we could see even more Muppets additions hit Walt Disney World Resort and beyond.
Whether or not these additions include a revived Muppet*Vision 3D – which closed in 2025 to make way for the upcoming Monsters, Inc. expansion at Hollywood Studios – remains to be seen.
