Beginning August 1, Walt Disney World Confirms Removal of 10 Guest Perks

Walt Disney World Annual Passholders are about to lose a long list of extras that have made visiting the parks a little more rewarding this summer.

From major dining discounts to exclusive merchandise and a dedicated EPCOT lounge, Disney rolled out several limited-time benefits as part of its 2026 V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days celebration. The event began May 1, giving Annual Passholders access to special offers throughout Walt Disney World.

But the celebration is reaching its end.

Beginning August 1, 10 categories of Passholder perks will no longer be available. That means anyone hoping to squeeze in one final discounted meal, grab an exclusive item, or visit the Passholder lounge has through July 31 to do it.

Here’s everything that’s going away.

Disney World Annual Passholders Are Losing Major Dining Discounts

Arguably, the biggest loss involves dining.

Throughout the summer promotion, Annual Passholders received 20% discounts at Be Our Guest Restaurant for lunch and The Crystal Palace for lunch and dinner.

Even bigger savings were available elsewhere.

Disney offered a substantial 40% Passholder discount at Biergarten Restaurant for lunch, Coral Reef Restaurant for dinner, Garden Grill Restaurant for lunch and dinner, Hollywood & Vine for all three meals, Tiffins Restaurant for dinner, Tusker House Restaurant for lunch and dinner, Boatwright’s Dining Hall for dinner, Cape May Cafe for dinner, Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood for dinner, and Whispering Canyon Cafe for brunch and dinner.

Those discounts alone could make a noticeable difference for Passholders eating at Disney’s table-service restaurants.

However, both discount levels are scheduled to disappear once August begins.

Exclusive Passholder Merchandise Is Also Leaving

The changes extend well beyond food.

Disney introduced an exclusive popcorn bucket designed by illustrator Ashley Taylor. Passholders could purchase it at locations inside Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney Springs.

Passholders also received access to a Woody and Buzz magnet at Creations Shop in EPCOT.

A larger collection of V.I.Passholder merchandise included a zip-up hoodie, T-shirt, Loungefly crossbody bag, baseball hat, and Corkcicle canteen. Disney sold the collection at locations including Creations Shop, the Emporium, World of Disney, and Discovery Trading Company.

Another exclusive came in the form of a Passholder tumbler featuring artwork by Joey Chou. Guests could purchase the tumbler with a nonalcoholic beverage at participating restaurants across EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

All of these limited-time offerings are part of the group of perks ending with July.

EPCOT Passholder Lounge Is Closing

One of the more useful summer benefits was found inside EPCOT.

Restaurant Marrakesh in the Morocco Pavilion became an exclusive V.I.Passholder lounge, giving Annual Passholders somewhere indoors to escape the Florida summer weather.

The lounge operated from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and included complimentary snacks, water, and Moroccan mint tea. Passholders could also pick up a special button and take advantage of a Disney PhotoPass Animated Magic Shot.

That lounge will also disappear from the Passholder benefit lineup after July 31.

For guests visiting EPCOT during the hottest part of the year, losing a dedicated air-conditioned space may be one of the more noticeable changes.

Specialty Drinks and Treats Are Ending Too

Annual Passholders also received several exclusive food and beverage offerings during the celebration.

Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company created five specialty drinks spread across Walt Disney World. Those included the Lucky Starlight Cold Brew at Magic Kingdom, Parisian Pebble Cold Brew at EPCOT, Rockin’ Cold Brew at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Forbidden Mountain Cold Brew at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Cinnamon Crunch Latte at Disney Springs.

Over in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion, Karamell-Küche offered Passholders an exclusive Mickey Chocolate Cake Pop featuring Werther’s Original Caramel.

Both the specialty Joffrey’s lineup and exclusive Karamell-Küche treat are reaching the end of their promotional runs.

An Exclusive Character Experience Is Disappearing

Finally, Annual Passholders are losing another EPCOT exclusive.

Disney offered a Passholder-only character meet-and-greet at the Magic Eye Theater from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. The experience runs only through July 31.

Taken together, that leaves 10 categories of limited-time perks ending August 1:

2. 40% dining discounts at limited locations
3. Ashley Taylor Passholder popcorn bucket
4. Woody and Buzz Passholder magnet
5. V.I.Passholder merchandise collection
6. Joey Chou Passholder tumbler

8. Exclusive Joffrey’s beverages
9. Karamell-Küche Passholder cake pop
10. Exclusive EPCOT character meet-and-greet

It’s important to note that these weren’t permanent Annual Pass benefits that Disney suddenly decided to eliminate. They were limited-time offerings tied to V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days, which Disney launched May 1 as a seasonal Passholder celebration.

Still, August 1 represents a significant change for Passholders who have been taking advantage of them all summer.

Anyone visiting Walt Disney World before the end of July has only a few days remaining to use these discounts, visit the EPCOT lounge, purchase exclusive items, and experience the other Passholder offerings before the summer promotion comes to an end.
