‘Halloween’ (1978) Remake Confirms Several Returning Actors
Michael Myers has haunted audiences for nearly five decades, and his story is far from over. From John Carpenter’s original Halloween (1978) to its numerous sequels and reimaginings, the masked killer has remained one of horror’s most recognizable figures.
Now, a new project inspired by the original movie has brought back several familiar performers while introducing a fresh ensemble of characters.
IllFonic’s Halloween: The Game recreates Haddonfield as it appeared in Carpenter’s film, offering players a 1v4 asymmetrical multiplayer experience in which they can attempt to survive as a Hero of Haddonfield or become Michael Myers. The game also features a single-player story centered on the infamous killer.

Familiar Faces Join the Halloween Cast
Several performers from earlier entries in the franchise have returned, including Nick Castle as Michael Myers and Colin Mahan as Dr. Loomis.
Castle famously played the Shape in the original 1978 film, while Mahan previously voiced Loomis in Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills (2021).
The cast also includes Kristina Klebe, who appeared as Lynda van der Klok in Rob Zombie’s Halloween (2007) and now voices Alexis Purcell; Ken Foree, who played Joe Grizzly in that film and voices Midnight Kingston Pearl; and Mickey Yablans, who appeared as Richie Castle in Carpenter’s original and now voices a police officer.
They join previously announced performers Chelsea Krause as Laurie Strode, Kaitlyn Robrock as Annie Brackett, Angela Carbone as Lynda van der Klok, and Nicholas Leung as Bob Simms.
The expanded ensemble features William Hope’s fellow new cast members Allegra Clark as Jennifer Aarons, Ryan Colt Levy as Eric Dunn, Zeno Robinson as Thomas Armitage, Ariana Rosario as Rachel Calahan, Javier Prusky as Marcus Navarro, Anairis Quinones as Tanya Harrison, and Spencer Charnas as Richard Hawthorne.
Joe Ochman voices Sheriff Brackett, Chelsea Rebecca plays Judith Myers, Quinn Kitmitto voices Lindsey Wallace, and Heather Gonzalez plays Nurse Chambers.
According to the game’s official description, players can either “save the quiet town of Haddonfield from bloodshed as a Hero of Haddonfield” or “stalk and terrorize the residents as Michael Myers.”
The game is scheduled to receive its first DLC on October 27, introducing locations inspired by Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989).
