Disney World Introduces New ‘X-Men’ Experience, but It Comes With a Hefty Price Tag
Walt Disney World just debuted a brand-new X-Men addition at the resort, giving Marvel fans another reason to make a stop at EPCOT.
The timing couldn’t be much better. Marvel is preparing to bring the X-Men into an even bigger spotlight, and excitement surrounding the mutants continues to grow.
However, Disney’s latest offering comes with one major catch.
Guests hoping to bring some of that X-Men excitement home will need to prepare their wallets.
Here’s what Disney World guests can now experience at EPCOT.

Marvel Is Preparing for a New Era of the X-Men
The arrival of new X-Men merchandise comes as Marvel Studios prepares to bring the mutant heroes back to the forefront.
Marvel recently confirmed Sadie Sink will play Jean Grey in its upcoming X-Men film. The movie will introduce a new version of the team within the Marvel Cinematic Universe and represents another major step toward bringing the X-Men into Marvel Studios’ larger story.
That makes this a particularly notable time for longtime fans, especially as Marvel begins building excitement around the team’s future on screen.
For Disney fans, the timing of the latest EPCOT addition is especially interesting.
Disney has brought the Marvel Vault collection to EPCOT, including a new X-Men ’97 lineup created in collaboration with Heroes & Villains. The merchandise gives guests a chance to celebrate several of the franchise’s most recognizable mutants during their next visit to the park.
That means guests don’t have to wait for the next X-Men movie to see something new from the franchise at Disney World.
And there is quite a bit to browse.

A New EPCOT Arrival
The X-Men ’97 collection leans heavily into the team’s familiar colors and retro racing-inspired designs. Disney and Heroes & Villains have spread those details across apparel, accessories, and collectibles.
Here’s what guests can find:
- X-Men ’97 Racing Hat: The soft mesh hat combines black, dark blue, and gray with a formed bill. The front features “X ’97” alongside red, gold, blue, black, and white racing-inspired details. An adjustable strap sits on the back beneath a Marvel Studios X-Men patch.
- X-Men ’97 Bomber Jacket: This blue nylon jacket uses a bold red, gold, and white V-stripe design. An embroidered X-Men logo appears on the chest, while a larger version covers much of the back. The jacket also includes side pockets, a yellow zipper pull, and X-Men ’97 branding near the bottom.
- X-Men ’97 Dark Blue Racing T-Shirt: Made with Dri-FIT material, the dark blue shirt features yellow stitching and “X ’97” branding on the chest. The names of characters, including Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Gambit, Rogue, Magneto, and others, run vertically down the front.
- X-Men ’97 Crossbody Bag: The dark blue and black bag features a reflective X-Men logo across its top flap. Yellow straps and trim add contrast, while red tabs and a red handle complete the design. The back is padded mesh, and the blue wearable strap has a black lining.
- X-Men ’97 White Racing T-Shirt: The Dri-FIT shirt uses black raglan stitching and side panels with a red, gold, blue, and black racing design. The front includes “X ’97 MUTANT LIBERATION” along with a long list of X-Men characters. The back keeps things much simpler with a Heroes & Villains emblem near the collar.
While the lineup gives X-Men fans plenty of choices, the prices could make deciding what to buy much harder.

The New Marvel Collection Isn’t Cheap
Guests looking for a small piece of the collection can start with the X-Men ’97 Racing Hat for $36.99.
Both racing shirts come next. The X-Men ’97 White Racing T-Shirt costs $46.99, while the Dark Blue Racing T-Shirt carries the same $46.99 price.
The X-Men ’97 Crossbody Bag costs $49.99, putting it slightly above either shirt.
From there, prices jump considerably.
The X-Men ’97 Bomber Jacket sells for $89.99. That’s already a sizable souvenir purchase, especially for families buying merchandise for more than one person.
Buying the complete X-Men ’97 assortment would cost $270.95 before tax.
For guests already paying for park tickets, hotels, meals, transportation, and other souvenirs, these Marvel additions may fall firmly into the splurge category.

X-Men Fans Have Plenty to Look Forward To
It’s an exciting time for X-Men fans.
Marvel Studios is preparing a new X-Men movie with Sadie Sink taking on Jean Grey, while Disney World is giving guests another way to celebrate the franchise right now at EPCOT.
The new collection also offers enough variety that fans don’t necessarily have to purchase everything. Guests can choose among clothing, a hat, or a crossbody bag instead of purchasing the entire lineup.
Still, those prices are tough for Disney guests who were excited to enjoy the entire new collection.
The X-Men may finally be moving toward a much bigger future under Marvel Studios, but bringing a sizable piece of that excitement home from Disney World won’t come cheap.
