Disneyland is home to two mice. Mickey and Minnie are the only mice welcome in this park, and that means all others must be evicted somehow. Disney does this by allowing stray cats to make themselves at home in the park. At night, the cats come out and hunt the mice down, keeping the rodent population in check.
