1. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – Disneyland Park
Destined to be the biggest themed expansion to any Disney theme park, the Galaxy’s Edge – which will be located north of Frontierland - will take you to a remote outpost on the previously-unseen world of Batuu, where you’ll explore a bustling port thriving with inhabitants and characters from across the Star Wars universe. In fact, you can even catch a sneak preview of this new destination on Star Tours. Scheduled to open in 2019, you’ll have to wait a while for this epic new addition to Disneyland. But as that’s hardly lightyears away, at least you won’t have to wait a long, long time.
For a small world, remarkably, Disneyland still has plenty of room for the ever-expanding Star Wars universe. So even if you’re the biggest fan out there, there’s no need for you to wish upon a star, because Disneyland is about to give the Empire a run for its money. However, if you’re insistent, just make sure you don’t wish upon the Death Star - it’s certainly not welcome! That said, there are of course plenty of Sith Lords and members of the First Order to look out for throughout the resort. But don’t fear, because from now on, here at Disneyland, The Force will always be with you.
