13. Pirates of the Caribbean, New Orleans Square
Before the hugely-popular movie franchise that stars Johnny Depp as the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow, there was the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. And even to this day, it stands the test of time. While it doesn’t include tentacle-wielding pirates or ghostly apparitions, or sadly even Johnny Depp himself, it does take you on a dimly-lit river-bound journey through a land of meddlesome pirates. Its attention to detail is superb and you’ll soon forget all about those movies and feel like you’ve just voyaged back to a time when pirates actually ruled the seas – or rivers.
