Depending on where you’re coming from, the weather in southern California may be quite different than the weather back home. For this reason, it’s important to look ahead at the weather forecast and pack accordingly.
For instance, during the winter months the afternoons are actually pretty warm, and sometimes on the verge of hot. However, the evenings of those hot days do tend to turn chilly, meaning a jacket is in order.
