9. It’s Much Smaller Than it Looks
Using “forced perspective” – a technique used in film-making – the Matterhorn only appears bigger than it is, as it’s actually 100 times shorter than its real life counterpart! So when you’re riding its glassy surfaces, you won’t know the difference. But the problem with it being a lot smaller is that it won’t take long for its scary, hairy resident to find you!
