6. Not Checking The Disney Calendar
So it was your dream to ride Splash Mountain but when you arrive you see that it’s closed for refurbishment. You take a glance at the Disneyland Calendar and see it re-opens next week. This is a rookie mistake a lot of guests can make when going to Disney. You never know when rides will be down, so make sure to check the calendar to avoid a total melt-down (and we’re not just talking about from the kids). The Calendar is also useful for checking the entertainment schedule, such as when the fireworks or your favorite parade starts.
