7. “Duckwork” in the gazebo
Take a good look at the gazebo woodwork along the Paradise Pier Boardwalk and you may notice something a little “ducky.” The repeated pattern distinctly forms Donald Duck silhouettes in succession. The intricate placement of these etchings follows the conventional style of turn-of-the-20th-century boardwalks and piers. And featuring Donald at his most dapper is yet another nod to classic Disney.
