Top 10 Meals You Can Have At Disneyland Parks

Carnation Cafe

1. Walt’s favorite selections

You can’t beat the classics at Carnation Café, a faithful Disneyland tradition that goes back to the park’s official opening in 1955. This quaint little spot, nestled along nostalgic Main Street, makes the perfect stop for a hearty meal of great American classics—many of which were Walt Disney’s own personal favorites. Walt’s Chili, for example, makes the perfect starter to any lunch or dinner offering. Other personal favorites found in the “Walt’s Favorites” menu category include Chicken-fried Chicken, Homemade Meatloaf, and the fresh catch of the day feature. Other popular picks you can get include the famed Baked Potato Soup house specialty, fried pickles with dipping sauce, penne pasta with shrimp, the Chef’s Vegan Burger, and a whole host of notable American classic sandwiches and even entrée salads. Carnation Café also dishes up the works at breakfast too and makes the perfect choice for an early morning fixing before hitting the park attractions. Dive into a delightful spread that includes Country-fried Steak and Eggs, Apple-Granola Pancakes, Ham and Cheese Omelets, Classic Eggs Benedict, of course the ever-popular Mickey-shaped waffles among many other offerings. Another suggestion is to order the Oscar’s Choice: All-American Breakfast, which comes with two eggs (done up in any style), a side of Café specialty breakfast potatoes, your choice of hickory-smoked sausage or bacon, and a side of toast. Guests may choose to dine inside the Victorian-style dining room or sit outdoors at a table graced by an old-fashioned candy-striped umbrella.

As you make your choices for where to dine in each park it’s always a great idea to reserve seating at any popular table-service picks beforehand. Also note that featured menu selections do change on occasion, especially in regard to seasonal offerings or limited-time specials that are sometimes added in celebration of a particular holiday or event. And always be sure to check out all the other Disney dining options, all of which are sure to pamper the palate with pixie dust.
